life has handed me a few curve balls but i know i have the strength to overcome them. God doesn't give me anything i can't handle and in fact i am blessed to even be having these struggles so that i may persevere and grow. one of my favorite verses is found in James chapter one, verse 2 and it reads:
"Consider it pure joy my brothers [and sisters!] whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance"
I love this verse because it encourages me to overcome whatever i may be struggling with and right now i feel like that's a lot. But i also know God is taking care of me and will repay me for this. as long as i am doing my part, which is learning His Word! Which i am! and it is the most wonderful thing. i have been growing in knowledge and strength and it is so exciting. i am growing closer to God and becoming more and more in His image, the more i am learning. it is so wonderful! nothing else even matters, because i know that God is bigger and that he will take care of me as long as i am seeking his kingdom and righteousness first and foremost!
I also wasn't getting much business at the spa because massage seems to be a slow world at the moment so i quit the spa and am a nanny for a WONDERFUL couple with a 4 month old precious boy. His name is Benjamin, and be still my heart! i have fallen in love with this baby and i absolutely LOVE my job. if i can even call it a job..he is so easy and perfect and it's like i can't believe i'm even getting paid to do this! it is so wonderful! I am also making enough money to pay my bills now! which is definitely a BONUS!
